The winners of iPhone photography awards 2017

Sebastiano Tomada from New York received the main prize and became the photographer of the year for taking pictures of children in Kayar (Iraq) against the backdrop of fire and smoke rising up from the oil wells that were destroyed by the IGIL militants.


The third place in the "Children" category goes to Barry Mays from the UK.


Li Jinquan from Beijing took the third place in the "Travel".


Julia Smetanina from Moscow took the second place in the "Flowers" category.


Joseph Cyr from Tucson, Arizona, took the third place in the "Sunset" category.


Juan Carlos Castañeda from New York won the first place in the "I know" category with his winter photograph of "Constant Rock".


The third place in the portrait photo goes to Vlad Vasilkevich from Kiev.


The "Lifestyle" category is won by Nick Thrombol from Wexford, Pennsylvania.


Samuel Nakar from Albacete, Spain, took the first place in the "News, Events" category having captured the process of resettlement of the largest migrant camp in Europe, in the northern France.


Joshua Sarinana from Cambridge, Massachusetts took the second place in the "Travel" category.


Magali Chesnel Ferney-Voltaire from France became the winner in the "Trees" category.


Dina Alfasi from Israel became the winner in the "People" category.
